Transforming operational performance to deliver improved health outcomes in Bradford and Craven

The Challenge

With increasing demand and constrained funding, voluntary sector organisations needed a smarter, data-driven approach to identify and prioritise where support would have the greatest impact.

Our Innovation

We implemented a data-led system using MyCake’s 2024/25 resilience ratings to evaluate the financial health of VCSE organisations, enabling more informed and strategic support.

The Impact

We assessed 1,700 organisations, stabilised five at-risk groups—safeguarding over £2 million in contracts—and significantly improved efficiency, targeting, and decision-making. The model is now being adopted in Wakefield and Leeds, driving scalable, evidence-based transformation across the sector.
