MyCake publishes various reports. The common theme across all of them is the use of financial data to support decision making. Our annual conversion of Arts Council England NPO data into a benchmark and our occasional success guides for funders such as Power to Change and programme providers such as Cause4 are all examples of the analysis of data sources to generate insight into business model norms in a given sector or type of income generating activity.
We undertake consultancy work which looks at how as a sector we might build better data platforms and systems so as to make the access to data easier and more widely available. Where appropriate these reports are also available here.
From time to time we make innovations in data analysis e.g. our financial resilience index or Cost of Living impact model (COLIM). We publish our methods, rationale and views on the utility of these innovations here.
