The purpose of the Cause4 Arts and Culture Fundraising Benchmark report and dashboard is to support the leaders and trustees of arts organisations to compare and contrast their current performance to that of their peers.

As a result of this we hope that a clarity of the strengths and weaknesses in current business models will be contextualised with a sense of the scale of opportunities for growth and sustainability. We suggest that the benchmark offers a quantification of the places in which an organisation is already achieving ‘best in class’ results and where there are therefore likely to be diminishing returns on further improvement.
